The application process for entry to the Cheviot 2000 Team Fell Race(2011)has ended.

The date of the next event is:

SATURDAY 23rd JUNE 2012.

Applications for entry can be made WHEN ENTRY PROCESS OPENS IN FEBRUARY.

Each year we write to all Chief Constables in England, Scotland and Wales, and to the Armed Services Sports and Social Associations asking them to advertise the Cheviot 2000 in service magazines.

NEXT RACE - SATURDAY 23RD JUNE 2012

The date of this years event had to be moved from the provisional 16th June due to the passage of the Olympic Flame through our region.

For those potential competitiors who want to know if they (at work) would be affected by the route of the flame then I've checked it and it will be as follows:

Friday 22nd - Windemere, Lancaster and Blackpool

Saturday 23rd - Blackpool, Preston, Burnley, Rochdale and Bury

Sunday 24th - Manchester, Oldham, Huddersfield, Bradford, Skipton and Leeds.
