Medals and Trophies are usually presented on the evening of the race.

There is usually a licensed bar available and the presentation is followed by a buffet which is free to competitors. (A charge will be made for any guests.)

The Challenge Bowl - 1st Overall Team
The Challenge Bowl, which is awarded to the first overall team, was originally known as the "Trane Challenge Bowl" before it was resilvered. A local businessman, Eric Rosby, donated the magnificent bowl which was originally presented to the first Northumbria Police Team. It is now presented to the overall winning team.

The Peter Law Memorial Cup - 1st Overall Team
The Peter Law Memorial Cup is also awarded to the first overall team. Peter Law was a member of the Atomic Energy Authority Police who took part in the very first pilot events and numerous subsequent national events. The Trophy was donated by his wife.

The Vets challenge cup is awarded to the first Veterans team to complete the course. All team members must be 40 years or over to qualify.

The Phil Lose Memorial Cup is awarded to the first Northumbria Police team to finish the race. Pc Phil Lose was a Cheviot 2000 fan and a keen race organiser and marshal. The cup was kindly donated by Phil's wife.
